Think out of the box

An inspiration from my friend, Adhy Ganjar, for us to think outside of the common sense or any common paradigm.

literally, boxes had spaces in it, how much spaces available INSIDE the box? and what about the spaces OUTSIDE the box? definitely UNLIMITED !!!

let us for a while, leave the entrepreneurship technologies advancements (capital, skills, courage to start a business, etc.)

while people still busy with their daily business activities after doing it for 10 years or more, let us pay close attention for this BECAK DRIVER illustration, he's an elementary school graduated only, which achieved his "financial freedom" after working for approximately 5 years only, with monthly passive income of Rp 9 millions/month.

First becak:

The becak driver owned a motorized becak and earned Rp 60.000,- daily income (he worked day and night), with daily expenses of Rp 30.000,-. Then he forced himself to save Rp 30.000,- daily. After saving for 400 days (approximately 13 months), he was able to buy the second becak at Rp 12 millions/unit.

Second becak:

He rented the second becak for Rp 30.000,- daily, while he still worked with the first becak. Now he could save Rp 60.000,- daily. After 200 days, he was able to buy the third becak.

Third becak:

He also rented the third becak, now he could save Rp 90.000,- daily. After 134 days, he bought the fourth becak.

Fourth becak:

He also rented the fourth becak, now he could save Rp 120.000,- daily. After 100 days, he bought the fifth becak.

Fifth becak:

He also rented the fifth becak, now he could save Rp 150.000,- daily. After 80 days, he bought the sixth becak.

Sixth becak:

He also rented the sixth becak, now he could save Rp 180.000,- daily. After 67 days, he bought the seventh becak.

Seventh becak:

He also rented the seventh becak, now he could save Rp 210.000,- daily. After 57 days, he bought the eighth becak.

Eighth becak:

He also rented the eighth becak, now he could save Rp 240.000,- daily. After 50 days, he bought the ninth becak.

Ninth becak:

He also rented the ninth becak, now he could save Rp 270.000,- daily. After 45 days, he bought the tenth becak.

Tenth becak:

He also rented the tenth becak, now he could save Rp 300.000,- daily. After 40 days, he bought a new becak again.

After he rented those 10 becaks, he also rented his own becak. Then he hired a manager to manage all those becaks.

He RETIRED, with daily passive income approximately Rp 300.000,- or equal to Rp 9 millions/month (before deducted for the manager salary), all these efforts if we count on were happened at 3,2 years period.

It is only an illustration of a straight business journey of a becak driver. Let say he achieved it at 10 years period of time (not 3,2 years as in the illustration), the BECAK DRIVER logically can achieve all those, and can be really happened. How many BECAK DRIVER in the world can achieve that? maybe 1 in 10 millions, but they do exist.
How many Becak driver in the world that keep running his becak, and work hard every day?
so many of them....

THINK OUT OF THE BOX !! The results were significant.

The key was on "duplication"

Here's the secret: "run a business that was easy to duplicate, and don't need you to be fully involved."

another KEY POINT:

save early, use those saving to invest in a profitable business, do it repeatedly, after the passive income grow larger, then you may retire.
